Banana Cake with Cheese Cake Filling


 
I saw IKEA’s “#joyofthekitchen” advertisement. They show a banana loaf with cream cheese. It looks so tempting. So, yes. Why not?! I love banana cake. And my favorite cake is cheese cake. I did Brownie cheese cake. It is so YUM! I think that banana cake with cheese cake filling should be very delicious. So, let’s do it.

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Oven Setting and Time: 180 degree C, around 50~60 minutes

This recipe is for one 8” tin

Steps of Banana Cake

(1) Weight all ingredients
(2) Well blended butter and sugar together until it is a fluffy light yellow mix
(3) Add eggs into the daughter and mix it again.

 

(4) Chopped 1 and half bananas into small pieces. Mix it with daughter around 30 seconds.
(5) Pour flour and baking powder into the batter. And mix it well.
(6) Use a spatula spoon to make sure every ingredient is well-mixed.


Steps of Cheese Cake Filling

(1) Weight all ingredients
(2) Well blended soft cheese and egg together
(3) Pour sugar and flour into batter. Well-mixed it. Set aside
 
Steps of Assembly

(1) Pour 2/3 cake batter into a 8” tin with either baking paper or greased surface.
(2) Pour all filling on the top of cake batter.
(3) Pour the rest of cake batter on the top of cheese cake filling


(4) Pre-heat the oven at 180 degree C around 10 minutes. Send the cake into oven. Wait around 50~60 minutes.




 

This is a good cake. But, cheesecake flavor is not so strong. I like brownie with cheesecake filling more than this one. Share it next time. If you are a cheese cake fan, you can try it. Maybe, you will love it. Enjoy it.
